Common questions

Do I need an Apple Music subscription?

Only for the optional "My Top 15" feature, which lets you search for, play, and track your own song picks. The core bingo game — creating a music night, predicting songs, marking boards, sharing results — works fully without any music subscription.

How does locking a board work?

Once a music night is over, tap the lock icon to freeze all four boards against further changes. This also prevents that night from being deleted by accident. Unlock it again anytime if you need to fix a mistake.

Can I edit my Top 15 list after importing it?

Yes. Swipe left on any song to remove it, tap Edit to drag and reorder, or use the menu to re-import a playlist (replacing your current list) or clear everything and start over.

Why didn't a song get marked as played automatically?

Songs are marked played automatically once they finish playing all the way through. If you stop a song early, you can always tap the checkmark yourself to mark it played manually.

Is my data backed up if I get a new phone?

If iCloud Backup is turned on for your device, this app's data is included automatically, the same as any other app. Restoring your new phone from that backup brings your music nights with it.

Something's not working — what should I include when I contact you?

A quick description of what you were doing when it happened, and whether it's still happening, is usually enough to get started.
